What is CLASP?
CLASP is a multi-agency collaboration designed to train and equip parents in Dallas for warehouse logistics and provide the resources necessary to make long-lasting financial and lifestyle changes. Each participating non-profit organization serves to meet a different need for these families.
Individuals accepted to the program will receive state-of-the-art workforce readiness, credentialing training, financial education, assistance transitioning into positions, and intensive support to succeed.

How it works
CLASP is helping households in the Vickery Meadow area of Dallas to be employed in a warehouse and put them on a career path to advance.
Can you see yourself advancing your career in a warehouse? If so, we can provide a Certified Logistics Associate (CLT) certification, along with work readiness, soft-skill training, leadership development, and financial literacy.
Do you have some of the following barriers that keep you from having a steady job?

Program Requirements
To qualify for our CLASP program, you must:

Live in Dallas, Area A (Call us to see if your ZIP code is eligible)

Be a parent, single or married
-
Not be enrolled in school
-
Have a high school diploma or equivalent
-
Be eligible to work in the U.S.

Have a current household income of $27,749 or less

Each individual who meets the requirements will be included in a FREE 8-week training program and have the opportunity to begin a new career with a Fortune 500 employer. These individuals will also have access to expanded services.

2. Talk with one of our Navigators (either over the phone or in person) and complete the intake assessment forms.
3. Enroll in one of four classes offered during 2017-2018 (Sept. 7, Nov. 2, Feb. 15 & May 10)
