Girls Who Code

Join 40,000 Girls Who Code

Transformance is partnering with Girls Who Code to offer a Fall Club to Dallas area girls to provide free after-school programs for 6th-12th grade girls to use computer science to impact their community and join a sisterhood of supportive peers and role models.

Girls Who Code enrollees will learn the Core4 computer science concepts, which form the basis for all computer programming languages, whether building a mobile app, website, software program or robot. Sixty-six percent of club graduates state that they will pursue a major or minor degree in computer science. By 2020, there will be 1.4 million jobs available in computing related fields. U.S. graduates are on track to fill 29 percent of those jobs, but women are on track to fill just three percent.
