Ken Goodgames named CEO of CCCS of Greater Dallas

Visionary Leader Helps Expand CCCS' Financial Capability Programs to Consumers
January 14, 2015 - Transformance, formerly Consumer Credit Counseling Service of Greater Dallas (CCCS) has announced the selection of Ken Goodgames as President and Chief Executive Officer, effective immediately. Interim Chief Executive Officer Sharon King returns to her role as Vice President of Development.
The Transformance Board of Directors selected Goodgames after a thorough search process. During this process, Sharon King served as Interim Chief Executive Officer for nine months. Goodgames will continue to expand on the legacy of the organization by working with community advocates, such as United Way of Metropolitan Dallas, United Way of Greater Austin and the Dallas County Community College District, to expand Transformance services in the Southwest.
Goodgames comes to Transformance from his most recent position at the American Red Cross where he was Vice President of Product Management and Healthcare Programs. Previously, he was Vice President of Sales and Field Operations at the American Heart Association. Prior to the American Heart Association, he owned a management consulting practice focusing on strategic planning, market development, process improvement methodologies, alliance and partner development. He previously held executive leadership roles at Microsoft, NuTec Sciences and Synavant. "Ken is a visionary leader who will help move the agency forward with vast experience growing both nonprofit and business organizations," said Gilbert Gerst, Chairman of the Transformance Board of Directors. "His innovative and compassionate leadership style aligns with our mission and goal to expand financial stability in our region and beyond."
Goodgames' knowledge across all major industries will help Transformance have a greater impact in the community, including working with advocates that are passionate about moving families toward financial stability and restoring a flourishing economy. From the foundational blocks of budgeting to helping families set financial goals, survive financial crisis and avoid foreclosure,Transformance helped more than 53,000 consumers gain financial stability last year. Goodgames currently serves on the TIFF Board for the City of Irving and has held a number of volunteer roles supporting children, economic empowerment, science and technology, and healthcare.
